Easter has to be my favourite event in the church calendar, and not because it involves chocolate! I love to celebrate the fact that Jesus rose from the dead, and all that this one event did for us.
The fact that Jesus died and rose again has made the way for us to have a relationship with our heavenly Father, we now have freedom from sin and most of all the promise of an eternal life in heaven.
We at CGC Maldon are celebrating Easter in a few ways this year. On Sunday 25th March we will be holding our Bridge Easter Event, 3pm at Plantation Hall. On Saturday 31st March we will be heading out onto the streets of Maldon for an Easter Giveaway, where we give Easter Eggs and Fuzzy Bugs to the public, aswell as telling them about Jesus. And lastly we will be having our annual Easter Sunday Celebration at Maldon Baptist Church, 10am on 1st April.
These events are all free and open to everyone. We hope to see you there.
